SO(N)R is a multifaceted project exploring the materiality of sound when remembering history. The first iteration consists of sonic lamentations and vocal scores transmitted through glass-blown and hand-fabricated sculptures. The sculptures are formally invoked from Abu, a Luo ancestral wind instrument used in commemorative functions.
